I am in Australia and most churches these days dont let you throw ANYTHING.... sparklers would be cool, but are you getting married in the day?
Bubbles is a great idea!
Nada.....our venue doesn't allow you to (we are having the ceremony outside of the reception site). I do like the sparkler idea though....
we're not having anything! One idea that was suggested by our celebrant is to have 2 bubble machines pointed towards the guests, it would make a pretty cool photo.
i have to check with the church, they might not allow us to do that
. if anything, i would do rose petals. or birdseed maybe. something organic! :D
This has been my #1 issue for the moment! It's between bubbles or white confetti poppers. I have never seen anyone do the confetti which is drawing me to it, but I'm also hesitant for that exact same reason... what if I don't get good pics? What if they don't work? I'm probably just over -analyzing it, but this decision has been driving me crazy! Oh and I also have to run it by our church first (the confetti) I'm pretty sure we can. It stated confetti must be outside in our "wedding handbook" but I want to DOUBLE check first!
Oh, forgot to add, the confetti poppers are biodegradable! :)
I don't think we're walking out of the church with everyone watching! We're going to stay after the ceremony and do some posed photos, so I assume everyone that's not going in the trolley will have left.
We are leaving for our honeymoon right from the morning-after brunch, so maybe I can do something like bubbles or sparklers then. I'm really hoping someone writes "Just Married" on the back of my car, actually.
If we do an exit like this, it will be bubbles. Our church doesn't allow the throwing of anything, even confetti.
Nothing. We're going away to a secret hideout in the church to have "alone time" for a few minutes. Then we'll all (wedding party included) head back in to take the rest of the pics.
We're getting married and having our reception at the same place. When we leave at the end of the night, all of our guests will have sparklers! I've always loved them and they make for really neat photos at night :]
Can't throw anything at our church either. We are doing ribbon wands - Somethign like these:

i'm going to have a basket of ribbon wands and a basket of bubbles (cheap at the dollar store!)...

When you walk out of the church doors, what will your guests do/throw?? I've seen bubbles, flower petals, the release of ballooons, sparklers, etc...what will your guests do??
