Wow. I'm sorry for all of the stuff leading up to it, but that video is freaking kick ass. I actually teared up a little, it is totally AWESOME.
So cute! You guys are a silly couple. That's a great thing, keeps things light and fun. We are the same way.
You both look so happy in that video.
I hope this will help you remember the best (and most important) parts of your wedding, so that you can look back on the day and smile rather than cry.

What a beautiful video! You look so happy, and you have the look of being home and safe in your husband's arms. =) Your videographer did a great job of capturing that! It is something you can always look back to when you are feeling lost or confused.
I always thought videography was an unecessary expense but in your case, I think it is what you needed to help you get over your Dad. I think there was a reason you haven't written that letter. Because after seeing your video, he really doesn't even matter anymore. He can eat his cold bitter heart out. The beautiful wedding of his radiant daughter went off and he was not missed. ;)
Baldor- The first thing I said to my husband is that I am so happy we got the videographer. It was one of those thigns he really didn't want at all and I pushed for it and paid for it out of pocket. The video reminds me of eveything that went well. I think getting the videos, given the rest of the circumstances if they had to happen, was the best idea I made wedding-related.
I'm glad you guys like it! I'm super excited to see the full length.
ps. the dark spot on the underside of my arm you see when I am dancing with my mom (because Dad skipped out on the gig) is a bruise, not a thick patch of armpit hair.

1. The Xanax helped...you really do look like you dont have a care in the world!
2. I always say nothing brings out the worst in people than weddings and funerals. But here's the thing - you had a beautiful wedding, marrying someone I assume you really love.
3. There comes a point in your adult life when you have to cut your losses. It sounds as if your dad has been a sore spot in your life. Is it worth the emotional trauma to you to try to continue a relationship with him? Especially when he did this on your wedding day? I had a difficult decision to make about my dad as well - I just couldnt have the toxic relationship anymore. It sucks. I would imagine you want your dad around. But sounds like you have a great mom and stepdad.
4. AMAZING VIDEO! AMAZING VIDEO! AMAZING VIDEO! I hope my wedding exudes a fifth of the love I saw in that room.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I wanted to tell you that you're video is AMAZING! You and you husband just radiate love for each other...I teared up watching it. There is no trace of the pain you went through getting to that point. :)
I too have a very "challenging" family, so I'm just hoping for the best and minimal drama when the time comes. I'm so sorry that your happiness was compromised by someone who should be there for you.
I will say, you have inspired my choice of headpiece, I believe. Your birdcage was gorgeous and I think I will be using it as inspiration to model my own after. And this video has made me rethink having a videographer. What a wonderful keepsake to look back on for the rest of your lives!
Wow! I agree with cleve_girl01 Just another reason that I want a videographer for our wedding - that was ace! I'm so sorry you had to deal with father-drama in the lead up to your big day, but if it's any compensation at all your wedding looks amazing, you look STUNNING (love your birdcage veil!) and you and your husband look so. in. love. Congrats!
Aww, that's a great video - it turned out great! Love your dress. The emotional stuff will sort out. Your video is beaming love : )

If you don't feel like reading them (they are quite long), my father ruined the rehearsal, took off, and left the bill to my family because I forgot to tell him that my stepfather was ALSO walking me down the aisle (duh, Nikki).
Since these posts, I am doing better with everything. I still haven't started writing my letter to my father, still haven't spoke with him at all since the rehearsal night and neither has my brother. I'm not sure what's holding me back from starting the letter, but I'm feeling less emotional when I think about this on a regular basis. Sometimes I still get very upset, but it's happening less. I think alot of it had to do with stepping away from the wedding books, wedding website, and wedding talk (no offense WB, I love you). And after I got back the professional pics (which will be posted this weekend!), I felt alot better about the wedding because the pics are gorgeous and I look really happy. I can't remember much of the day, but at least the documentation of the day is great.
