    Hey everyone!

For all you bees that have had your gallbladder removed..I was wondering what life was like after you had surgery?  Did you continue to have pain?  I had mine removed about 2 months ago because of large stones.  Ever since, I've been having weird abdominal pains all over, even directly across from where my gallbladder was, but on the left side.  They come and go, but it's kind of been freaking me out.  Has anyone experienced this?

    Thanks!

I never experienced major pains after my surgery.  I do have stomache aches occassionaly, but nothing like before.  Probably should check in with your Dr.

Thanks for your response! If it keeps up I'll definitely make an appointment. It's not excruciating by any means, it's just feels like gallbladder pain.

I had a lot of nausea problems after getting it removed. Just be very very careful with your diet because you do not digest things like you used to. In time things will heal and be easier, but it took me about a year. Nonetheless i would still check with your doctor to make sure there were no complications.

@specialk3782: yeah, I had the nausea afterwards, too.  And high-fat content foods make me sick more now than before.

TMI ALERT::   Also... extra bile is NO fun when you vomit it up.... even the dry-heaving isn't so dry anymore.

I'd call the doctor now to make sure there isn't something else going on or complications.  D

did you have the surgery surgery or laproscopy?  I had the latter and the healing was much faster for me.
