@applecat:  I think it looks fine, but if you are planning on bowling it may protect your dignity a little less than desired (if you bowl like me anyway, where I always end up with my ass stuck right out).

@applecat:  When I’ve been drinking I either get excitable and super-competitive, or sleepy, so I’d have to hedge my bets either way! Perhaps it would be better as a rehearsal dinner dress? Or you could get some little dignity-hotpants to wear underneath it?

I voted yes for the after party but no for the rehearsal dinner. It is a pretty dress though.

I wouldn’t wear it to the rehearsal dinner, but I think it’s totally acceptable (and super cute on you!) for the after-party!

it seems more of a “party” dress, so I’d say after party only. Rehersal dinner dress should be something more appropriate for a sit down dinner with family etc.

I agree that you should be careful if you’re actually bowling, but it should be fine otherwise. If you’re having a bachelorette party, it’s perfect for that too. And can I just say, your red hair is pretty fab (unless it’s brown and the lighting makes it look red lol)

I don’t have a terribly conservative family so that dress would be totally appropriate for a rehearsal dinner. But I’m not entirely sure how well it’d hold up while bowling. Might be a bit dressy (and short!) for something so casual.

If you are worried about he length, wear black tights to make it look a little more modest.
