- Wedding: July 2012
Our venue is sort of like a resort. The ceremony and reception are at the same place, and there are rooms available. We are planning a daytime wedding, with a bonfire after party.
My fiance is worried that since we are planning to serve a late lunch at the reception (eating around 2:30 or 3), people will be hungry later in the day and we will need to provide something for dinner, also. He definitely has a point, the place is pretty isolated and if people are going to spend a lot of the day drinking, they should have plenty to eat, too.
I agree people might need dinner, but I’m not sure 1) that it’s our responsibility to feed them (again) 2) how /what to provide. I’m sure the venue would be happy to serve something for an additional fee that is not in our budget. We could order a bunch of pizza, probably, or maybe have some poeple bring some kind of snacks?
