mine is also a sunday ceremony at 5 pm, with the reception wrapping up at 10:30 pm. we plan to head downtown to the main street in chapel hill and find a bar that's open and ready for our fun little selves. we thought about reserving part of a bar, but with it being a sunday night we don't think it'll be necessary to make a reservation as no one place should be too crowded. another option could be to take the party back to the bar/restaurant at your hotel (if there is one). i've seen couples do that too.
On a Sunday night? Don't you think most people will want to go home and go to bed because they have work Monday? Oh wait...memorial day weekend?! Gotcha. SOme places may be open on Monday nights. If not, what about a martini bar or something less 'party' like but still conducive to a fun atmosphere?
I'm having a Sunday wedding, NOT on a holiday weekend and we have firm committments from many of our friends to party afterwards. There is a bar across from the hotel we're staying at that's open until 4am 7 nights a week for some reason. Many people are taking monday off.

Our wedding is on a Sunday at 5pm with the reception immediately following (at the same location). It will probably wrap up between 9:30 and 10:00. Any ideas for a Sunday night after party? Our favorite bar only has live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights :[ boo!
