My shower was Sunday. Do I close out my registry now or do people give actual gifts for the wedding?

Keep it open. People will bring gifts to the wedding as well.

Also, you prob want to keep it open after the wedding. Many places (I know Bed, Bath, & Beyond is one of them, and I think Target) will actually give you a discount on all the items on your registry that nobody bought you!

A lot of people give real gifts for the wedding.  I would keep it open so you don't get 15 toasters!

I never give money at weddings. Keep it open. Also, as the wedding gets close, keep an eye on it so that you still have enough variety at different prices. The worst is when you go to buy a list minute gift, and all that's left is a bunch of small stuff and a couple really expensive items.

You'll most likely get more cash than gifts, but keep it open. I know that personally, I prefer giving actual gifts over cash and some of yoru guests will feel the same.

We got about 10 gifts for our wedding, and the rest were cash.

Plus, as others have said, you can use your completion offers and get discounts on the stuff you wanted, but didn't get!

I agree with the other bees! Also, some people buy gifts for both the shower and the wedding. Plus, some guests may buy gifts after the wedding is over.
