Nati-Lyte May 29, 2011 Wedding in Bristol/Newport RI

I took a mini-break from wedding bee
Purchased and closed on our house, moved in, and took a nasty spill down our 1940s stair case
Almost finished painting our downstairs bathroom
Fallen in love with a home DIY renovation blog-- I really SUCKED at wedding DIY, and I'm totally surprised I've taken to DIYing home renovations! I think i found my next passion
Returned to work after 4 weeks of leave (wedding and honeymoon) and I'm already bored but refuse to look for something else because I need to learn to slow down and enjoy life after all of the recent high's I've had (deployment, wedding, honeymoon, house purchase)

What have May 2011 Bees been up to since your wedding?

We found an awesome condo to rent!!!
I have decided to get my Etsy business built up enough that I can quit my job and do it full time.
I have become very motivated to finish school now. I have been taking about a class a semester at night after work but now that I am married and want children in a few years, I want to go to school full time hence why I am building up my business.

Been searching for a full-time job. No luck so far.
Painted the hallway and will paint the entrance way next.
A lot of weeding in the yard.

Went to Alaska for 14 days for business. Sold my second home. Repaid personal debts to some wonderful folks who helped us when we needed it. Decided that the fact his grown daughter didnt come to the wedding wasnt going to bother me. Started the name change process and got on a waiting list for a purebred puppy ( Ive had 5 rescues in my life- this time we want to go this route). STILL have not finished a diy shutterfly wedding book. Need to do that..... motivate me someoone lol

@retreadbride: Everytime I go to place pics in that damn shutterfly book I get extremely anal and rethink each step of the day and then over think the size of the pics, etc.......... It really is a PITA. But I really want it to be done. So I understand the lack of motiviation......
