Oh wow…I think you should tell her the truth. Especailly since she asked for the pictures for her portfolio. But do emphasis that you loved your hair.

I’d go with the truth. Just tell her that you honestly didn’t know that they had their hair redone while you were still going (could it have been windy/rainy/something to lesson the blow?). You really wouldn’t want her to figure it out once you sent photos over, or even worse, put up the photos and represent the work as her own when it really wasn’t. Is she a friend-friend, or could you maybe let it hang for a bit and see if she asks again?

Doesnt seem like there is any other way to get out of this one besides just telling her they changed the style last minute! Or just offer her ones of YOU! =)

lol at the last option. anyways, i’d just tell her something like “here are the pictures you asked for of my hair – I totally forgot that the BMs ended up redoing their hairstyles so didn’t attach any of those… you know how fickle girls can be! anyway, thanks again for doing a great job on my hair, hope it’s portfolio-worthy!”

I’d just tell her that your after your BMs left you didn’t realize it, but they changed their hair and you’re really sorry, but that you really loved what she did and offer her photos of your own. That’s too bad that the girls didn’t like it. They really should have said something at the time and let your hairdresser fix it. Then they wouldn’t have had to leave you at the hair salon……………………………

Ugh that really sucks! I would be honest. You never know – it could by your  girls’ fault. All of my girls washed their hair the morning of our wedding even though they were told not to. I told all of them not to even get their hair very wet that morning in the shower but they all washed it. Hair that has been washed isnt as easy to work with and doesnt stay in certain updos as well. Maybe your stylist tried to do something different? THis is what happened when my girls were requesting certain things (showing pics) and the stylists said well that wont hold so I cant do it. Honestly its better for your stylist to know so that she knows how to improve in the future if necessary. Im sorry you have to deal with an awkward situation!

Send yours and the two girls who didn’t change their hair, and tell her the others didn’t want their pictures in the portfolio. Three additions is enough!

@PitBulLover: Yup – mine did the same thing. I ask them to show up with clean dry hair and they showed up with wet hair…
