- Wedding: June 2013
So, our wedding photos sucked. ANYONE could have taken those photos, I could go on and on about why they sucked and how disappointed I am but that will just make me really upset.
To fix this feeling of disappointment, my husband agreed to let us take after wedding photos in our garb with a new photographer so I at least will have something to frame as a “wedding” portrait.
We were originally going to take the pictures in October, but that didn’t work out, so now we’re supposed to do them this coming Monday the 18th. I have 2 issues with this: 1) there are no pretty leaves on the trees anymore and it might be cold, 2) I’ve gained about 10-15 lbs since the wedding (ugh) and while I can get my dress to lace up, it’s not at all comfortable and I have a ton of back fat (which will be covered by a cardigan, so that’s sort of a non-issue).
Should we go ahead and do the pictures on Monday and get it over with, or should I reschedule for the spring and try to lose 10 lbs by then?
Further complicating this issue is the possibility that we may move before the spring shoot, as in, to another STATE, but this isn’t for certain (job offers pending for my husband). I haven’t specifically asked the photog but I’m pretty sure I could get my money back if that were to happen. I’ve paid $250 so far of the total $500 fee. (I know it’s expensive but I don’t care at this point I just want awesome pictures.)
What should we do?!
