(Closed) Afternoon vs evening

TECHNICALLY, 12:00PM-5:59PM is considered afternoon… but I think “five o’clock in the afternoon” sounds kind of funny. I wish the etiquette sticklers would just bump “evening” one hour ahead! lol

We’re having a daytime wedding, so this issue hasn’t come up. However, if I were having a wedding that started after 5 I would totally use “evening” instead of afternoon.
