Whenever I attend any event, no matter the time, I usually plan for it to be my heaviest meal of the day. If I was going to your wedding I would plan to eat a decent breakfast and a very light dinner because I would expect I would be eating a heavier lunch than normal.
I think your menu sounds yummy!
I think your menu sounds great. It has just enough food that would last everyone till dinner (my opinion) :). Nice work!! >.<

So I am having an afternoon wedding reception (starts at 12:30 pm). The reception is buffet style.
My dilemma: I don't know how much food is expected at a lunch reception compared to a dinner (night) reception. My current lunch menu is as followed. Is the list (1) too heavy/much for a lunch (2) just right or (3) add more food.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Menu
shrimp & grits
redfish beignets
finger sandwiches or ceasar salad
baked chicken breast with spinach & corn
herb roasted turkey station with rolls and assorted spreads
honey roasted pork loin with rolls & assorted spreads
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there any menu items that you would change? Thanks :-)
