    You could always add to the dress you have now. Lace applique, some sparkle, etc… I’m seeing a blank canvas that that you could really work with!

    @sherryberry:  +1 I agree.

    @Bearimbolo:  don’t give up on it yet. Seamstresses can work magic. No need to buy a new dress  You also fell in love with it for a reason

    @Bearimbolo:  I think the dress you have is lovely! It just neds a little work with  a seamstress and you’re set! It looks super good on your figure!

    @Bearimbolo:  I think i like the original dress better. I mean it seems a bit more indie and, well, you. I don’t think the Allure would show off your tattoos as well.

    But I think it looks fairly different on the model photo..

    … the main difference being the extra fullness. If you can get it so it looks like a modified-ish a-line, like in the photo, it will look great on you. So a fuller slip or crinoline would be the go.

    Also I think your belt is in the wrong position; it needs to be an inch or so higher, which is where your natural waist is. For some reason I like a dark or black coloured belt on you.

    By the way, have your ruled out going tea/knee-length altogehter? Coz I think that would look great as well.

    I agree that it’s about the fullness of the skirt. With a crinoline to acheive about the same fullness of the Allure, I think you will be very happy with the dress you have! Clair’s advice about the belt might be right too. I am not sure about really *dark*, but maybe a rose color or something that is visible but not dark.

    I think your dress is really beautiful!

    @Bearimbolo:  Add a crinoline (A line? I’m not an expert) to poof out the dress like in the models’ photos and it’ll make a huge difference! I like the neckline and ribbon sash 🙂

    Edit: just read PPs comments about a crinoline, so I agree with them!

    Obviously the decision is yours, but the allure is gorgeous! Saying that, I think if you’d never known that the allure came in you’d be confident in your original decision.

    I agree with the others – I prefer the dress you have, but with added fullness to the skirt. I like that it’s a bit more subtle than the Allure.
