I will say, as a former floral wedding director, the blue orchids can definitely look artificial and neon.
@JessicaDolly: From the pictures you've posted, I do like the pink better, and I think it'll look nice with the teal dresses. I also like the way they look mixed with the hydrangeas over the mix with the roses. The all white is nice, but I personally love the pop of color.
I say all hydrangeas and all the blue orchids--I don't really like the look of the mixed bouquets.
The blue orchids are so beautiful and I think they'll photograph beautifully. Your photographer will know how to work with the light, don't worry. I think they would look stunning against your gown.
I think hydrangeas are so lovely and classy and would look good with a bright blue dress. They'd look lovely with a white dress of course as well.
I absolutely love blue orchids, they're just beautiful and will be having them in my wedding!
Hmm, i'm starting to lean to this. I'll forget the idea of mixing, and just have my girls carry all white bouquets? Or the other way around (girls carry orchids, i carry the hydrangeas?
I don't have much to say about the flowers but your dress is FABULOUS! I love it!!
I vote for the all white hydrangeas - I think it is classy, beautiful, and timeless!!

I can't decide what to do! Up until now, I had my bouquet as all blue dendrobium orchids, and then the bridesmaids we're to have white roses with blue orchids mixed in. I'm also having the same orchid as our centerpieces (submerged in water). However, lately I've seen photos of the blue orchids used in bouquets, and I feel as if they almost look neon depending on the lighting. Does anyone else think this?? So now I'm rethinking the whole thing (I already emailed my florist and its okay with her). Should I switch from the blue orchid to the fuscia orchids? and also instead of the BMs having white roses mixed with the orchids, should I have her use white hydrangeas?
Oh, my main colour has been teal up until now (and bits of silver)...but theres no other colour (which is another reason I am thinking of bringing in the pink flower)
Here are some photos. This is what I was going to get...
and this is what I am now debating -
This would be all the pink orchid (basically same style as the one I was supposed to carry)
Or even all hydrangeas??
If it helps, this is the BM dress colour -
and my dress -
