Those were tho only ones I could think of...
There have been a few posts about this before but I'll give you a rundown of the ones that I know.
FI - fiance or future intended
DH - dear husband
FMIL - future mother in law
FFIL - future father in law
BM - bridesmaid
STD - save the date
DW - destination wedding
FI- fiance
FH- future husband (aka fiance!)
FMIL- future mother-in-law
MIL- mother-in-law
MOH- maid of honor
BM- bridesmaid (not poop! lol)
STD- save the date (not the other kind!)
FFIL- future father-in-law
FIL- father-in-law
DW- destination wedding
those are the ones that come up to the top of my brains! i'll probably think of more later. :p
FMIL/FFIL - future mother/father-in-law
FIL - father-in-law/future in-laws
MIL - mother-in-law
SIL/BIL - sister/brother-in-law
DH - dear husband
Those are all the ones I can think of right now...
There are also just general ones that sometimes people don't know as well:
iirc- if I remember correctly
tbh- to be honest
imho- in my humble opinion
ftw- for the win
Those are ones that I'll use and throw people off. lol.
SDR - short distance relationship (coined by mr. bee!)
LDR - long distance relationship

2nd post on that thread from Mrs. Penguin has a TON!! I remember seeing STDs before I knew what they were and being really confused!!!

Hi, well im about a week new and sometimes I read a post and get completely lost on some of the abbreviations! Im not sure if there is like a certain spot on the site where they are listed, I looked and didnt see one....So maybe you gals can help me and other fellow bees that are new, know what some of the abbreviations stand for...
Post any you can think of that you use often on here!!
