Haha, oh wow! i can't wait to see pics! I love hearing the stories of things that didn't go quite right, but the wedding was fabulous anyway - they put my mind at ease. :)

It's my first day back to work after the wedding/honeymoon and I've finally found a few free minutes to return to weddingbee!
The wedding was amazing and even though a lot of things didn't go according to plan, everyone had a great time and we are a very happliy married couple.
Some highlights:
Rain - lots of it. I woke up at 6am to a thunderstorm. It wasn't raining before the wedding so we decided to go ahead with our plan to arrive by boat. We were walking down the dock to the boat and it started to POUR. (I ran down the dock in my wedding dress and jumped onto the boat). It stopped raining just long enough for our outdoor (not tented) ceremony and some pictures then continued to POUR raining for the rest of the night. The reception was in a huge tent outside and the bar area and walkway to the food became a mud pit. My shoes were covered in mud and my dress looks like there is a 2-inch brown stripe at the bottom. In a weird way, I think the rain helped the party. Everyone gave up trying to stay clean and the dance floor was muddy and packed.
Favor label NIGHTMARE - The labels that "work on most printers" didn't work, UGH!
Irish/Jewish crazyness - We had a Preist, a Jewish Cantor, a horah, Irish dancers etc. Everyone loved our ceremony and the traditions that we incorporated. The Preist and Cantor loved each other so much that they want to work together again, and they might since my new sister-in-law just got engaged!
I plan on writing some recaps with pictures and I will put up some vendor reviews (awesome photographer, Amazing caterer, stupid DJ).
