Bees I can’t believe that my 20’s are nearly over… but at the same time I am kinda excited about it! Being in your 30’s sounds so “grown up” don’t you think?
Tomorrow is going to be ALL ABOUT ME as I go for out breakfast with the family, indulge in a facial and a massage, then go and get my hair styled for my Gatsby themed dinner party later on with friends! I can’t WAIT! Plus today my sister TOTALLY surprised me by showing up at my work at lunchtime (she lives 1.5 hour flight away) so that was a lovely surprise. I also had birthday cake put on at work this morning for morning tea, haha. So far, so good!
Tell me, what did you do on YOUR 30th birthday? What stage of life were you at when you turned 30? What were you doing? I’m interested to hear your stories!

Happy birthday! That sounds like a super fun day! I’ll be 29 this April and freaking out a little bit. 30 does sound more adult, more mature, you certainly should have your “ish together” by then haha. I like more of who I am now with the experience, but I can’t help but start to feel sort of old? Especially when I see college kids or hear someone tell me they are 21, 22.
Or am I just weird? Lol. Anyways your day sound lovely! Enjoy it!

Honestly, the year of my 30th birthday was one of the best! I was almost done law school, was in the best physical shape so far (started a new fitness program) and I was single 🙂 My family surprised me with a trip to Virginia Beach for couple of days, and got me amazing gifts; I spent wonderful time with my parents and brother. I also bought a ticket to Greece to visit the country for the first time and my cousin who lived there. Had an amazing time and met my husband on the plane!
Happy birthday! 🙂 Have an amazing day

ribelle : what workout program did you use?I’ve had a rough few months and I lost almost all muscle definition in my legs, being unable to walk. I’ve always been an athlete, and I’ve never had to start over from ground zero.

whytneynicole : HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Being in your 30’s cool. I was terrified and depressed for like 6 months before turning 30.. turned 30 all’s well lol no idea why I was freaking out that much.I’ll be turning 32 in a couple months and so far I like my early 30’s a lot better than my early 20’s!

Happy birthday!!! I turned 30 five days ago 🙂 February 1987 babies are the best!
For my 30th, I didn’t do anything big – I’m getting married in June, so there are plenty of parties in my honor this year. I had a lovely morning run with my running group, a massage, then a wonderful dinner with my family and in laws. And I ate lots of cupcakes.
Honestly? My 20’s, at least the first half, were very turbulent and I wasn’t in a great place. I’m SO looking forward to going into my 30’s being at peace with myself, with a great career, and in a wonderful, supportive relationship. I’m so much happier and more stable now at 30.
I wish you all the best in your 30’s!

Happy birthday! For my 30th birthday, we went on a weekend getaway a few hours’ drive from home. It’s nice to be in my 30s because I am in a good place professionally and because I have the time and means to do more fun things.

whytneynicole : Happy birthday! Your day sounds like it’s going to be incredible! I’m 32 now but I turned 30 in New York! My parents, husband (fiance at the time), brother and uncle all flew to NYC for a week and I turned 30 sat in the White Horse tavern in Greenwich Village 🙂 hope you have a wonderful time though – that dinner party sounds incredible!

I’m 31. I’ve discovered that you take so much less shit from people this side of 30. It’s nice.
