I have NO idea what category this goes under. I just took a shower and my feet and ankles are swollen to the point of being unrecognizable. Granted we are having a huge heat wave in LA but they are HUGE and painful. I’m petite and I have man paw feet.
Has this ever happened to anyone? Maybe salt and the heat? So freaked out.

Sit down, drink water, and elevate your feet, preferably above your heart level. That should help.

I’m so sorry but the term “man paw feet’ totally made me LOL! I agree with fiftyfootbride though, I think if you sit down and drink some water then hopefully the swelling will go down.

I had this happen to a coworker, he couldn’t even put socks on it hurt so bad. I don’t remember what he had, but he had to see a doctor and was out for like four days waiting for the swelling to go down. If it’s still bad tomorrow, I’d see a doctor.

yes, put your feet up as well above your heart and drink plenty of fluids. i would also call the doc in the morning and get an appointment.

Thanks everyone so much. I’ve drank a ton of water but the swelling hasn’t gone down yet. We haven’t been running the A/C (I know, crazy) and I think it’s really hot under my desk (I work from home).
If it’s still bad tomorrow I’ll have to see a dr 🙁
@hcritton: I did mean that to be funny! They seriously look like paws. I was thinking of my dainty wedding shoes and my temporarily ginormous feet. It hurts but I had to laugh.
