sooo I got a little over excited and I made a booboo, so I need your help!
our wedding colors are silver, black, and cornflower blue (ooooo, aaaah)
Because it was cheaper to buy than rent I went ahead and bought (yep, bought) some linens.
I don’t know what the hell I was thinking because now I don’t know what combinations to do, and what other linens to get to match/tie it all together.
for the head table I bought: Damask Runners (silver & black), and black sashes for the chairs.
So- for the head table to I
a)get black table cloth (I’m leaning towards this), and then do silver chairs
b) get silver table cloth, and do damask chairs
I went ahead and got: Black runners and damask chair sashes
So, Do I …..
a)use silver table cloths and black chair covers?
b)use damask table cloth and black chair covers?
HELP, I think I screwed up?

So far what you have is :
damask runners and black sashes for the head table/chairs
black runners and damask sashes for the guest tables/chairs.
My personal choce would be to keep to one color of tablecloth and the same color chairs throughout in order that it not look too spotty.
I must admit to a personal bias against black tablecloths for a wedding. I also really hate chair covers unless they are an absolute necessity reserved only for the world’s ugliest chairs.
From the choices given, I would choose silver tablecloths.

@julies1949: Thanks! So, silver table cloths for both? which would mean: black chairs for regular tables and damask for head table?

@mayflowerbride13: Yes, I would use the same color tablecloth throughout.
If you tied me down and forced me to use chair covers, I would also use the same chair cover everywhere. I think the focus should be on the table, not the chairs.
