First see if you can return the dress that you bought. If yuo cant return see if you can sell it either here or on ebay but you might have to take a little hit in the pocket, not sure.
I'm sure someone else might be in a bind and they will purchase your dress.
I was just going to say the same thing! See if you can return it, and then try selling it if the first opetion doesn't pan out. And since you haven't worn it yet, you have a better chance of selling it!

Why don't you try to sell the Maggie and take some of the money and take your cousin out for a fun night or a massage to thank her for the dress and make her feel better?
The Caleigh is kind of a sexy dress--what about wearing it for the reception? I mean if you can't sell it, you might as well get SOME use out of it

Yeah, I could try to sell it....I don't think they'll take it back, its been altered. I'll try to sell it and spend most of the money on my Cousin. That's a great idea! :)
I love Romona Keveza wedding dresses, and that one is no exception! You should wear that one and try to sell your Maggie.

I agree with the other girls. I say wear the romona, and try and sell your other dress. You like the romona better so wear that one. Its really pretty! Thats really nice of your cousin, I feel so sad her fiance canceled the wedding =(
See if you can sell your dress before it comes in . . . it'd be as if it was brand new. There might be another bride who's in a bigger time crunch than you were. I agree with the others--if you can sell your dress, offer the proceeds to your cousin!
I like ejs4y8's idea of selling the Maggie dress and treating your cousin to something special.

Try to return it, if it doesn't work then try to sell it online or somewhere in ur town.
LOVE THE ROMONA!! Take your cousin on a friggin' weekend getaway!!! And as for the Maggie, post it in the classifieds here, the knot's trash to treasure, your own craigslist, etc. but sell that baby!!!

That's a pretty dress! I would use it and try to sell the other one on weddingbee or preownedweddingdresses or whatever the website is for that.

So with the time crunch we were dealing with I ordered a dress without trying it on....Maggie Sottero Caleigha. Its beautiful! GORGEOUS even. And it looks great on me....I spend about $1100 on it.
BUT I have a cousin who lives in South TX who WAS getting married in Feb 2010. Well needless to say her fiance was a jerk and the wedding was called off. She purchased this even more gorgeous Romona Keveza dress....She wants me to have it. And to be quite honest it kicks my Maggie Dresses butt! Even though the Romona would be free, I feel SOOOOOO guilty paying over a thousand dollars for a dress I won't wear. I don't know what to do. HELP BEES!!!
