This is so awesome! Have you tried Zyrtec? I'm allergic to cats but that doesn't stop me from having 2 of them. I'm also thinking about allergy shots once I find a new doctor (since I'm allergic to tree pollen, grass, mold, and pretty much life!) I hope your FI gets in the program!
That's so exciting! Congratulations on the venue and to your FI on the news about his PhD program. I empathize -- my apps are in, and now I am in the horrible waiting time, too. Enjoy your night out!
YAY what a happy day...I remember the excitement I felt when we went to my top choice venue location!! I was exstatic, the only downside to the trip was that FI invited a new friend along which made it less personal. But I can't complain I loved the location so much I forgot he was there.
Sounds like a great day all around. Congrats on finding the venue & keep us posted about FI's PHD plans.

Sooooooo to cap off an awesome day, we had an AWESOME dinner and it was so, so good. And EEEEEEE we set a date! That's so unreal.

I was weirdly not allergic to this cat... I don't know if it was just a kitten or what but I was FINE when we left. Mr. KM didn't believe me, though :(

So. First, we went to an indian buffet for lunch. It was good, even though they changed management (it's within walking distance to my house so we go there alot).
Then, this morning, we went to see what I thought would be my frirst choice venue. I had such HUGE expectations and it totally did NOT disappoint. Y'all, I cannot even tell you how gorgeous it is, because the pictures I took didn't do it justice. It just didn't. And they let us do a complimentary wine tasting... I'm a total lightweight, so Mr. KM had to drive home! We put July 31st on hold! It's mine! We set a date!
And then, we went to the humane society (we like to pretend it's a zoo). But as soon as we pulled in the parking lot, Mr. KM got a phone call from the professor in the P.h.D. program he REALLY wants to get into! They're not bringing him down for an interview because he interviewed last October, but he's definintely in their top 5-6 choices!!!!! That's AWESOME news!
Then I fell in love with a kitten. But I didn't get to take him home. But I still love him, and I didn't break out or sneeze alot (I'm allergic). And tonight, we're going to Mr. KMs ex-roommates ordination, and then going to the BEST restaurant to eat! It's so good!
