Oh no! I'm so sorry! Unfortunately, I doubt there is much you can do about the post office with the confusion over the apartment complex.
I knoooooooow that is what totally sucks! We're moving at the end of April too, so who knows if we will ever see this stuff.
Might have to start a backup plan of calling or emailing. Maybe have your mom or his help you out?
This won't help with the missing RSVPs, but you really should call your local post office and let them know the situation. Tell them how much mail is missing and that there wasn't delivery for 3 days - either someone is totally slacking off or there's some major confusion about who's supposed to go where. Either way, the supervisors need to know about it - especially if you're using this address for your gift registries!
@lili - we did contact the supervisors and they were nice about it although they didn't really tell us anything. we should luckily be ok with the gift registry stuff though because those packages will be sent to us via fedex or ups, which have been running perfectly. it is just the stupid US postal service that is screwing it all up! :/ i'm just concerned about if anyone had sent us checks...
I think that's why you need to notify everyone on the mail situation so if they did send checks, they might want to cancel them in case they go to the wrong place.
What a bummer! I really hope you get the missing mail figured out! I agree with letting everyone know about the situation.
definetly call people you havent heard from and explain the situation and if they do have cheques they sent Like MissAsB this will notify them to cancel them. Screwy postal service!

Our RSVP deadline was this past weekend and I decided to give it until the end of the week before we started contacting people... Well today we contact five people, all of which RSVPed over a month ago and we STILL haven't received them! We talked to our apartment office and they said the postal service has screwed up a lot of our complex's mail because they split the complex into three different zones and some of the buildings have been left out and stuff. We didn't even have a mail person come to our building for three days in a row the other week! Now I'm just really worried because some people had sent us checks in the mail who couldn't make it to the wedding... Stupid mail!
