oh yea um ive contacted sissi chan already she is not available on my date. Also going to contact reiko utsugi. Anyone else people can recommend? :)
she responds to email ( ai@ailovehair.com )...maybe she's traveling? i also looked into sachiko yanase (sachikoyanase@earthlink.net) and reiko utsugi (reiko.makeover@rcn.com) before booking sissi chan (sissichan@gmail.com) for my wedding.
Ai has done Bee's makup a few times:

Sachiko, Ai, and Reiko are all great - I think they've all worked together in the past.
Nam Vo recently moved to NYC (she did Mrs. Eggplant's wedding and she's done Canary and Bee's makeup before too):

I had a trial with her and it was just ok. She just gets recommended when sachiko is booked up. For brides on a budget who can't afford to shop around, I didn't think she was amazing or anything. I didn't end up booking her.
Both Ai and Sachiko are great. Bee's worked with Ai three times, and has had an amazing experience each time.
Ai actualy did hair and makeup for Bee at a recent maternity shoot with Punam Bean! Bee looked great in it - although of course, I'm biased. :-)

Has anyone heard from Ai? I have been trying to reach her but have had no luck. Any help would be awesome. Also, anyone know of any other good makeup and hair people in NYC who do ASIAN BRIDES? Thanks!!!
