Whats the difference? What do you prefer?
I’ve never had airbrush makeup done before, but I’ve heard it will make you look flawless. I was supposed to have a trial with one makeup artist that does airbrush but she had to cancel so I am loking into other people as well now. The one that does airbrush i about $30 less for me and the girls, but I don’t feel like the eyes pop in her pictures. The other artist uses MAC and I think the eyes look great, but she is a bit more and doesn’t do airbrush.
What do you think?

I had 3 trials with 3 different makeup artists. 1 did a regular makeup trial and the other 2 did airbrush. I highly recommend airbrush makeup. The regular makeup I feel was so heavy, and even though it was heavy, she mentioned it’d have to be touched-up throughout the day. However, with airbrush, I was touching my face all day and even took a nap, and woke up and it still looked the way it had right after it was done! I was lucky enough to find a makeup artist who charges the same amount for regular makeup application and airbrush application, so my bridesmaids will have the choice on the day of without being charged extra!

I had airbrush makeup and looooooved it! That stuff was amazing, I had it applied around 3pm and when we got to our hotel around 11pm, it was still on after dancing all night. The first minute or so after it’s applied feels kind of weird, but once it dries you don’t even feel like you’re wearing makeup, it’s so light!

I had airbrush. I have naturally red cheeks and when I wear cover up, my face looks slightly crackly. I am so happy I went with it because it made my face flawless and lasted the entire today.

I originally wanted air brush but my MUA said that she could achieve the same look with normal makeup, and she did. If I was having a summer wedding I probably would have gone with the airbrush but since we were married in the fall, normal foundation was really all I needed. My skin has about a bazillion flaws and it looked amazing. Seriously, if it wasn’t $100 a pop, I’d have my makeup professionally done every day! Lol If you want airbrush, go for it, but the same look can be achieved with normal foundation if you want to save a few bucks.

I see your wedding is in Fort Wayne. Blush Me is the best MUA in Fort Wayne and does airbrush. She is pretty well booked this year, but if you aren’t sold on your MUA, try her! I booked her for my July wedding and had my trial already. She made me look like a model. I started crying b/c I looked so good!!! She is the nicest girl ever and really cared about what look I wanted. She has a website…www.blushmenow.com.

I just want to add, I bought myself an airbrush makeup system for personal use and will never go back to back to conventionnal makeup. I wear it all day at a fast-paced restaurant job and it still looks fresh when I go to bed. On top of lasting power, it is also much more sanitary, pro use or personal, and can have long term effects on the overall health of your skin! Less breakouts for us with annoyingly oily skin! I will definitely be using my airbrush for my wedding n September, no question!
