Anybody get a breakout after having an airbrush makeup session? I was at the clinique counter this weekend inquiring about make up trials and they said I should take all my own cheap drugstore makeup with me on my wedding day and have the makeup stylist apply that instead of using their high end products cuz it will probably break me out if I havent been wearing that type of product for years.
Anybody have trouble with their skin after having high end brands applied, especially by airbrush? The ladies were not snotty, they just seemed to be warning me, and now I’m scared.

Do you have sensitive skin? If not, you’re not likely to break out with new makeup. I have super sensitive skin, so I was really afraid that my MUA’s makeup (mineral makeup, even) would break me out. I did a trial and it was totally fine, thankfully.

I have sensitive skin, so I knew that trying any new make-up could be a problem. I did try airbrush for my e-photos and my face ended up being covered in tiny red bumps from it. So my MUA and I worked together, with multiple trips to Sephora, to find the right primer/foundation/setting combo that would last all day but not cause my skin to have a bad reaction.

Hmm. I dont think I have sensitive skin. Although a month or so ago I was broke out nonstop for a whole month. Lately ive been eating clean and cut out soda and I’ve seen an improvement with breakouts. If I wax my lip or cheeks areas I almost always break out tho, so I don’t do that often.
