I've never had it done and I don't know of anywhere around here but I am equaly curious. I think I'd like to have it done too!
I actually had a preview with my make-up artist and she did airbrush foundation. It looked and felt really good. My face felt so soft, like I wasn't wearing any make-up at all. I would definitely recommend it. And it does stay on all day without having to do any touch-ups.
The more I read on this blog about airbrushing - the more I want it! People rave about it!
In my area the brides airbrush with a consultation is $130 (this is in a fairly big city in Canada)
Well, I talked to a lady at a Bridal show and she charged $175 for hair and makeup and then she charged an extra $50 for airbrushing. I am just afraid that it will look too cakey and I want to make sure that I still look like myself.
Is $225 too much for my wedding day look?
I did airbrush make-up at my best friends wedding. Do it! We never had to retouch anything except for lip gloss. Our faces looked flawless. I think we might have powdered our noses once, but I think it was more out habit that really needing it. I think it's worth it. Oh, and the pictures turned out great.
Yes, I think it is worth the cost. The makeup feels really lightweight. I dont' know about you, but when I apply my regular makeup, after a few hours its pretty much gone. I was not planning on getting my makeup done for the wedding but I've decided it will money well spent after spending money on a photographer! :)
Hey Miss Hot Sauce, where have you found air brushers in the Houston area?
One of my best friends did it for her sister's wedding. She was the MOH and her makeup looked better than the brides! She said it felt really fake to her (she doesn't wear a lot), but she looked STUNNING. I had never really heard about it before but I plan to do it for my wedding day. It's worth the $$.
I've been pricing it. Runs about $175-$250 for the bride. Usually cheaper $50-$75 for BMs if the bride is getting hers done...

At first, I was wanting to do my own makeup, but the more and more I talked with makeup artists and friends, the more I think I should get it airbrushed. I know one thing that my friends have said is that Airbrush Makeup stays on longer than regular makeup.
Do you think that airbrush makeup is worth the extra cost?
