I’ve agreed to get airbrush makeup done for my wedding. I want to look my best, and I don’t mind paying a little extra for the airbrush.
I know that at least one (probably more) of my bridesmaids will ask if they can get traditional makeup instead of airbrush due to the higher cost. When I told my makeup artist this, she told me that’s fine but to let the BM’s know that it will be apparent in pictures who was airbrushed and who was not. Is this true? Or is she just pressuring me into trying to get all my BM’s to get airbrush?

I was airbrushed and my Bridesmaid or Best Man was not…..she still looked beautiful. I personally wouldn’t worry about it…..they are going to still look nice!
Now my Bridesmaid or Best Man doesn’t normally wear a lot of makeup…I think the biggest dif you can see is in the eyes bc I had on lashes and she did not. I wouldn’t worry about if they are airbrushed or not….I think the makeup artist might be wanting a lil extra cash in the pocket….
***The only thing I might add is that my airbrushed makeup stayed put really well considering I got married outside in the islands!

Don’t buy into it!
My coworker (who also does makeup on the side) says airbrush makeup is really just a hype. I bought into it for myself (before talking to her), but all my bridesmaids are going to have just traditional makeup.
Some really good setting powder should do the trick for traditional makeup, IMO.

@weddingbound: Great picture! You also helped me out with my hair/ veil/ hair comb indecisiveness – so thanks again!! 🙂 You both definitely look great in that picture! I think you’re right and the salon is just trying to make a little extra..

@AlliMayWedding: I’m getting it, not because I expect I’ll look better but because I want to make sure it stays put through all the hugs and activity like
