Hello. Does anyone have any experience of airbrush makeup? Does it even out skin tone and hide imperfections better than fluid foundation? I went for a trial and mua used airbrush, but it didn’t do anything to disguise my enlarged pores…please let me know of your own experiences. I will add a poll also. Thanks

As a blanket statement, I don’t think that one is better than the other. It really depends on what is best for your skin. I thought I wanted airbrush until I tested it out for my e-pics and my entire face ended up covered in red bumps (not a breakoput, just small red bumps). So my MUA used liquid on my wedding day and I was thrilled with the final results. But it took us multiple trials to find the right combination of primer, foundation, powder, and setting spray that would not irritate my skin, last 12+ hours, and give me a perfect finish.

I have really bad skin and my MUA used airbrush for my trial and it looked amazing. I agree with the PP though. I think there are different types of airbrush foundations just like with fluid so you couldnt necessarily compare ALL airbrush to ALL fluid. I can get full coverage with either.

@smallstuff: I have an airbrush machine and I use both airbrush and traditional foundation.. I have large pores too which I hate but I use a primer first and I get a little bit of my foundation and go over the areas lightly where I have large pores, which is only parts of my cheeks..Then I apply the airbrush over my entire face.. This is the only way it works for me and it looks flawless but takes a lot of time.. I normally wear traditional makeup and can achieve the airbrush look with the right bushes and beauty blender.

@smallstuff: for me personally I much preferred airbrush. It lasted all day for our e-pics and was an even application. I live my foundation and powder combo but it never lasts this long. For the pores I had my MUA do a primer and then the airbrush. It worked wonders.
