I personally LOVED my airbrushing experience. It felt very light but gave me amazing coverage. Also, it lasted all day!!! Here's a pic
@jneden: Your make up turned out so beautifully- think it's about to be saved into my inspiration folder! Am yet to have a trial but deff think airbrush is the way to go for me!
@jneden: Thank you, it does look good. It didnt start to dry up at all through out the day?
I have oily skin and the airbrush was great for my trial. I'll be brave and post a before make-up picture as well. It worked wonders to cover up my blemishes. One call out, you don't want to get eyebrows or lips waxed prior to the airbrush because sometimes the inflamed skin will not cover evenly.
Wow, you ladies look great with your airbrush! I'll be able to share pics/experience after this weekend when I have my trial.
@angeebride: Ok thank you for the tip... This may be a stupid question but I have a nose stud will it be better if I take that out while she does the air brushing? I have dry skin in certian areas like my nose and my forehead. Do you think I should exfoliate really well for the full week prior and get a good moisturizer?
@Anxiouspeanut: i'm not sure about the stud. she can probably clean it off with a cotton swab and alcohol. I've had some dry patches around my mouth and the make-up seemed to adjust well to both my dry and oily patches. But yes, always exfoliate and moisturize. I'd start sooner than one week though as not to irritate.
@angeebride: Yeah, I usually exfoliate but probably not as often as I should. But I need a better moisturizer for sure.
I did it for my makeup trial and it lasted all day and did not cause my horribly sensitive skin to breakout (I am allergic to so much) - I have bad hyperpigmentation from chemical burning and it covered nicely

@unixfairy: Thank you for the pics, it looked great, my main concern is it not lasting and drying up and looking cakey...
All of these look so good... How was the make up to get off at the end of the night?
Thanks ladies! No it didn't dry up or anything throughout the day, had a little shine but the MA said she would give me some loose powder to use to touch up if I need it. It was not difficult to wash off either, just used my normal cleanser. Since you can't do a trial, I would check out reviews on Wedding Wire to make sure the MA knows what she is doing.
I had airbrush done for a wedding and I loved it. It was easy to remove with my normal cleanser. i have combo/oily skin and I got a little shiny but just used some observing sheets mid day. We did a trial before brcause the makeup artist said it does streak if you sweat and it's harder to blend than regular makeup, i don't sweat on my face so I was fine but she demonstrated with water..
@jazinlove: Thank you, I never thought about the sweating part... We are getting married in Vegas and it is nice that time of year but I think if I sweat at all it will be at our reception after dancing for a while and only from my forehead if I am really bad. lol so I should be carefull and watch the makeup on my forehead if that does happen.
My main worry is that the airbrush will make me look shiny and that is my pet peeve!!
@Aure: HIGHEST recommendation for Megan at http://www.lasvegaswedding-makeup.com/ (Makeup in the 702)
They get the most amazing reviews and totally deserved - Megan did my makeup and Whitney is now my regular hair stylist in addition to doing my hair for my wedding day next spring. They come to you and they are simply the nicest best people to work with. Totally professional but super friendly too!!!

I have decided to get air brushed instead of traditional makeup ( foundation/ Concealer ) and I have heard good and bad things about it. I am a little weary of it now. Can you please post a pic of yourself after you got airbrushed and share your experience? I wont be able to get a trial done because I am having my wedding in Vegas and I live in Canada.
