I've never had this done either, but I've been looking into it for the wedding. I talked a lady the other day and she said that you can get "disposable underwear" and a lot of people wear that. I'll try to google it and see what I come up with.
I went for my May 22nd wedding. I wore a thong (black) and nothing on top. My advce dont wear anything on top and if you do wear a nipple pasty or something. I was so nervous and when I went we talked the whole time about the wedding It didnt even bother me she was seeing me naked LOL It was over so fast and I looked great!
Think of it like your OBGYN. This lady has seen it all already! There is no reason you should feel uncomfortable with nothing on top (I'd still wear a thong though...)
Yeah don't wear anything on top. You'll have weird lines from it. It's really not awkward at all. When I first started going the girl was just always giving me directions (turn this way, chin up, arms out) and now we just chat. As long as it's a lady you won't feel weird.
If you really can't imagine going topless.. I would wear a bandeau bathing suit top so there are no straps to deal with.
Drink a glass of wine (or 2) before you go and you'll be fine 
I was thinking of doing this too as I am super pale. How much does something like this cost and how long does it last?? I did the mystic thing years ago and it was horrible!!

@mareem Well airbrush tanning around here cost anywhere from $25-$40 for your full body, yeah the mystic tan sucks!
I would definitely go naked! Don't be embarrassed. And if you are embarrased, it's worth it. If you wear underwear you'll have white boobs and a white bottom!
Once I wore my undies and having super tanned legs and a super white bottom looked seriously ridiculous. The beautician has seen it all before and is concentrating on tanning you.
I have sprayed tanned several times. I usually wear just a paper panty and nothing else. I don't really have an issue being naked, though. If you do decide to wear something on top it should not have straps. But, honestly, I think you should go topless.

Okay.. so Friday I have an appointment with a friend of mine to go and get a airbrush tan, you know the ones sprayed on by an actual person. I have never gotten a spray tan like this just like a Mystic where you stand in the booth and get splotchy hands & feet!
Well we are going to a wedding this Saturday so we thought we would cover up these WHITE legs of ours!! Lol
My friend plans on just wearing underwear and no top, Im not super modest but not sure how I feel just standing there in my underwear and my girls getting sprayed. So I plan to wear underwear , any suggestions on what to wear up top without exposing it all??
