I was just in a friends wedding this weekend and had airbrush. it didn't feel or look heavy AT ALL and stayed put the whole night.
One thing I did notice was that for some of the other bridesmaid with less than stellar skin, it seemed to show their imperfections a bit more? I thought that was weird, but it could have just been the makeup artist not covering enough.
I really liked it.
I wear regular makeup everyday so for my trial and wedding day I got airbrush. For the trial I was surprised by how heavy the airbrush makeup felt at first but after a few minutes I didn't really notice. Personally, of course I wanted to look pretty for all our guests the day of our wedding but I also wanted gorgeous photos. I think the airbrush held up way better than regular makeup would have and looked really good in the photos. It was a long day and I never had to have a touch up. I have oily skin and it was recommended that I get airbrush. It held up all day thru the oil and sweat...it was so hot! My normal makeup would have melted right off my face!
I'm going through this same dilemma. From the majority of opinions on here and lots of discussion, I think I'm gonna do airbrushed. It seems like everyone is choosing it and are happy with it
I wore regular make up and did it myself.... I just couldn't bring myself to pay bookoos of $$ for makeup. lol
I had a consult with MAC and they did a fabulous job.
I told them exactly what I wanted and they delivered!! There is no charge for the consult as long as you spend at least $50.
Mine was $65.00 for makeup and an extra $50 to upgrade to airbrush so a total $115 and the trial was free.

Hello! I thought I wanted airbrush makeup on my wedding date but another artist told me she does not do airbrush for weddings because it only really looks good in magazines, etc and in person regular make-up looks better. She said airbrush dries fast and feels heavy. So now I don't know what I want!
Soo....if you could please let me know if any of you have tried both (i.e. did a trial with both) and what you preferred that would be great! thanks! :)
