FH and I don’t travel much at all. We have both only flown once in our life and never internationally. Some how on the names on our airline tickets have got our middle initials mashed up with your first names. My ticket says Erinm LastName and his Georgem LastName. I’m wondering if this is going cause a problem with security traveling to and from Mexico. Should I call up the airline to get it fixed or should it really not be a problem because obviously on our passports are middle names start with ms. Thanks so much.

I would call the airline and double check with them. Airline security can be pretty particular, especially since you’re traveling out of the country. If anything, calling will give you peace of mind.

definately call – your travel documents should be accurate to warn off any complications with customs when you get back home…

This happened to my FH once. I called the airline and you tell them about the mistake. They will not re-issue the ticket but there is a note in the account.
I dont think that it will cause any problems since there will be a note under your ticket number. Make sure to do it ASAP!

There may be a not under your ticket number, but those notes the TSA CAN NOT SEE.
Call. Sometimes it’s no big deal. Just remember your passports!

Call the airline and tell them. Sometimes airlines do that but definitely do it for peace of mind. And yes, as a PP said, don’t forget your passports! 🙂
