@brooklynn.ashcraft:  You can do with chairs anything that you were going to do with pews.

Do you have any look or feel that you want for your wedding?

@brooklynn.ashcraft:  Try making some of those paper flower pomanders.  They are like big flower balls that you can hang on the sides of the chairs.  Its fairly cheap to make, just a bit time consuming.

You can decorate just the back row of chairs-ribbon can be pricey

Ribbon ceremony chair decor; another way to save time and money by only tying them to the back row of chairs

you can hang mason jars with ribbon- in the fall you can use one hydrangea head on its’ own- hang one jar every 3-4 rows

@brooklynn.ashcraft:  On an upholstered chair, you can pin the ribbon to the chair, hiding the pin under the ribbon.

You can also use stick on velcro dots. Remove the paper from one side of the velcro and stick it to the decor. Then remove the paper from the other side of the velcro and stick the whole thing to the chair. Keep the decor lightweight.

You can also use spiral pins. Push it through the ribbon and into the chair. Get the kind with the sharp point.
