I did not have one.  Our ceremony was on a stone patio and I never even considered having one.

I didn’t have one. We had petals scattered down our grass aisle. Where is your ceremony?

Our ceremony will be in a little church, so they will be providing an aisle runner for us. I think it adds a nice pop and change of color to the place.

We did the scattered rose petals instead, which I prefer.

Im having one but only because my venue is supplying it. I dont know if I would bother spending my money on one.

I didn’t have one, but only because I’m super clumsy and I was wearing 4″+ heels.  I had flowers along the aisle in paper cones instead.

Our church does not allow aisle runners unless we rent the fabric, heavy ones with the tacky stuff underneath it. The floor of our church is marble, so anything else would slide around all over. So we are not doing it.

I think it depends on your venue and aisle.  Since you said church and you can’t do anything more, I would go for the aisle runner then.  What you don’t spend on flowers or bows you could put towards the runner.  It would add a nice touch.

I’m not having one because our venue is outdoors and has a lovely brick aisle and I am using flowers along the sides instead.
