Originally I decided that an aisle runner wasn’t necessary, and I was just going to line the aisle with rose petals and candles. My colors are white and silver, so I was afraid that a white runner combined with white chairs and white flowers would be too much. However, the more and more I see runners the more I like them. They seem to give the ceremony space the finishing touch. Here are my options:
My ceremony space WITH runner:
My ceremony space WITHOUT runner but with rose petals:
Rose Petals and Candles:

I voted aisle runner with rose petals and candles! When in your life will you be walking down the aisle like this again? Go for the full shabang! 🙂

I hope your dress isn’t full-skirted if you decide to go with candles! Sounds like an accident waiting to happen.
I love the look of the rose petals.

You may want to check with your venue before you get your heart set on the candles. I really wanted that for our wedding however the venue wouldnt allow it or the glass because too many brides had broken the glasses and it became dangerous. I like the runner and petals look too

I love the white aisle runner. I think white flowers with a little green in them would look amazing. If it’s all white it won’t stand out as much and little colour would give you the extra wow:))

I voted for no aisle runner with candles and roses lining the aisle. The aisle runner is a waste of money. They never stay, even at my wedding they just had to remove it because it kept trying to blow away.
