Could you maybe just use heavily scattered petals? I think using a fabric runner -- if your aisle is on grass -- might be difficutl!
Nope Ms. B... we are on strict orders no petals, rice, ect. that will litter the grounds even if it is biodegradable :(
Try OriginalRunners company. They have non-slip aisle runners, that might help.

I am having a wonderful early September garden wedding. I love the idea of having an aisle runner. What suggestions would you ladies of the hive have as to what type of runner I should use. I am weary that heels will poke holes in a paper or fabric runner. Could I have some suggestions or comments from experience with aisle runners at your weddings or weddings you have seen.
I want to know the good the bad and the ugly lol!
