@Araya:  Ha! Mega awkward 😉 at my aunts wedding I was the ONLY person for the bouquet toss. The pictures are hilarious

At one wedding I went to, the bouquet hit the ground as none of the girls wanted to catch it. Haha!

We wanted to avoid the akwardness, so we skipped the garter toss, but during the bouquet toss my BFF had it come right to her, and she did everything in her power to avoid it!  It was hilarious!

We did the garter and boquet (exploding) toss.. DH decided to take the garter off using his teeth without telling me beforehand (damn, it was full awkward mode, but I laugh it off!) and the boquet toss was on a whole new level, photo below .

PS. I still laugh whenever I see these photos

We nixed the bouquet and garter toss.  We have very few single ladies attending so it would be putting two or three in an uncomfortable spotlight.  Also, I don’t need FI taking off my garter in front of my dad nor do I want one of FI’s friends driving around with my garter on his rearview mirror.  Ick!

We’re not doing a bouquet or garter toss. There will only be like 3-4 single ladies there and I have never met a woman who liked her single status to be highlighted – those I have told about the absence of the toss have already thanked me lol.

No garter toss either. Why oh why do I want anyone seeing this? Its embarassing and uncomfortable for every.single.person in the room. No.

@Araya:  LOL!!  Yep that is awkward…..but funny!!  We won’t be doing either the garter or bouquet toss.  I can see my dad who is single since mom passed, and my son going for the garter.  LOL!!!

I went to a wedding once where someone let their 12 year old daughter in the running… guess who caught the bouquet?! Yes, the 12 year old…

Well the groomsmen were busy doing something so they didn’t catch who caught the bouquet, and the best man, who was the groom’s UNCLE, made a big show of trying to catch it and then let out a huge “WHOOOO!” when he did.

Aaaaaand then he found out it was a 12 year old girl. SO. AWKWARD.

They just had her sit on his lap and take a picture. He was so embarrassed.

And I had to ask myself who let their 12 year old daughter go try and catch the bouquet?!?! And why didn’t someone try to warn the groomsmen!?!
