So I am a hairdresser and I am so tired of my feet hurting everyday when I get home from work and I am In desperate need of a new work shoe... and we were in housers shoes the other day shoe shopping for hubby and me and the sales people were all raving about Dansko and Alegria shoes for professionals. Say they sell alot of them to doctors nurses waitresses etc ppl who stand and walk alot all day. I cant think of anyone I know who has a pair of these.

I tried on the very few pair of Danskos they have in my size and they didnt fit ( i wear a size 5 but have a very narrow foot) so they didnt foot there where my foot arches in on the side.

So i then tried on the one pair of Alegria shoes they had in my size and wore them around for a bit while my husband shoe shopped and I must admit they did feel pretty comfortable and like they were supportive but I could not get over the price $109.00 and how well sorry but hideous they were the traditional clog style and  they were this super shiny almost plastic looking bronzy color

I would be wearing them with black dress pants. So I have been looking online and have found some that looks more like something I would wear... in the "feliz" style are similar to a mary jane.. but I still would like some imput from someone who owns a pair or has tried them ... before i can drop $120 with shipping on a pair of not so cute shoes.

Any imput anyone? good or bad?

    Oooh...I can help!

I have a pair of the mary-jane looking ones and I LOVE THEM!  I got them for student teaching and I have had zero problems from them.  They are comfortable right out of the box, no blisters...

I got mine on sale for like $90, but even at full price I think they are worth every penny.

I've heard those shoes are really comfortable but haven't worn them myself.  But I did search online really quick to see what that style looked like and saw them multiple places of $99.99 if that helps at all!
