Hi there,
my sister is considering the alfred angelo 2034 dress... anyone already wear it? Do you have pictures of the dress from your wedding. She really wanted to see it 'in action' before her final decision .. which she needs to make tomorrow.. anyone?
OMG! ME TOO! I am about to buy this dress and would love to see it in action to! I did find this link below that as some pictures, maybe you could email the photographier and ask...good luck!!!
http://www.rocknrollbride.com/2009/09/fire-breathers-belly-dancers/
This is MY dress! I'm not married YET, not til July so I don't have any in action shots except pics of my trying it on...but here you go! I made my own "sash" to got with it which will be sewn right into the dress..
Lovebug could you BE any happier in your dress???? You totally found THE ONE - gorgeous!!! :)
@teacherbride - thanks SO much! :)
and to all the other AA2034 brides, you're beautiful! :)
I am sold on this dress! I saw the pics of this dress on the model when I was searching for dresses and didn't even give the dress a second thought. But after seeing you ladies..... I have to have this dress! I even looked at the link RacheyZee posted before and had no idea it was the same dress. I love that rock n roll bride that is the look I'm going for simple dress big bold jewelry......I Love It!
@suny27 - me too!!! I couldn't believe it when I saw it on the model...I wanted to show my aunt and she was like..."really? That's ur dress?"...I'm like I SWEAR it so much better on a REAL person! LOL :) She's convinced now! :)
I picked up mine yesterday. It still has to be altered, especially in the waist. but otherwise I'm so excited!! I'm still deciding if I'm going to do a sash or not, we'll see. There are some good pictures in the new AA catalog (http://www.alfredangelo.com/eCatalog ...both the bridal and bridesmaid catalogs) of the 2034 dress with colored sashes. Oh and I need beter undergarments, because my boobs are definitely drooping a bit!!
BusyBrideMKE you look fantastic!!!! I personally think the sash would take away from the dress, it just looks so stunning now, even before its been altered!! Enjoy your day :)
I think it looks fabulous on you and I LOVE your jewelry!!! I wanna go bold with my jewelry too, we"ll see! :) I liked the dress better with sash for myself, it just draws the eye to the smallest part of my waist...and I made the sash myself with some lace which was my grammas which means alot to me!
BusyBride the dress looks great on you! I am even more excited now! I bought my dress on one of those used wedding dress sites (it still has tags on) I got a great deal less than half price and now I am waiting patiently for it to arrive!
This is also MY Dress! and I Love it! I am taking bridal pictures Friday. I will be sure to post. I will also be interested in selling after June 12. It is unaltered. You can PM me for more information.
This is my dress too. I can't wait til it comes in!!!! It's like "the sisterhood of the traveling pants" dress. It fits everyone so nicely...SO EXCITED TO WEAR IT!!!!!
ok, I'm ok..just got crazy for a sec...lol
I'm with ya on the traveling pants/dress!!! You're not crazy! It really does look great on everyone!
I had my first alterations fitting today and realized I still need to figure out if I'm wearing a veil or not. What have you other 2034 brides decided to do. There's a picture in the 2034 catalog of the model wearing a birdcage veil which is cool, but might be a little over the top for me. I'm also thinking about wearing my hair (which is naturally very curly) loosely pinned up and wearing a medium/long veil under the up do. I'm stuck and think i need some inspiration. 2034 brides, what are you doing for a head piece, if anything at all?
I'm just wearing a flower in my hair and long romantic curls. I wanted a birdcage veil but decided it's too much fuss!
Luvbug333: I wish my hair would do that..I'd end up with a frizzy mess. I'm going to put my hair in either a messy or very straight chignon...I have a lot of curly hair, but I can staighten it and it'll stay for a while...no veil. maybe a flower or a jewel of some sort...

This is my dress too! I bought it a few weeks ago and knew it was "the one" the second I put it on. It's such a beautiful and figure flattering dress! I'm so excited about it! I don't have pictures of myself in it yet, but will post once I take my bridal portraits!
I purchased this dress from another bride. It is Diamond White a size 14 NWT I was planning on wearing it for my summer wedding but due to an unexpected surprise
I don't think it will fit then. Is anyone interested?
Is anyone wearing this dress, or has worn this dress in a size 6 or 8 and willing to sell by around july?
uhg, have to vent.
I just had my 2nd fitting and it sucked. I was so excited. when I started dress shopping I stayed far away from strapless because I am rather big buster (actually not rather, I'm huge, 34G) but everyone assured me that with the bras that are made today, to try on some strapless dresses and thats when I fell in love with AA2034. today I had my second fitting and one you could see the boning from the bra through the dress and two the combo of the bra and dress made my chest hurt really bad. Oh and I don't know if it was the dress or the bra or a combo of the two, but there was no distinct differentiation between by chest and stomach, so it made my stomach look much bigger that it is. So now I have to try and find a new bra and hope it all looks better with the new bra. Also the way the lacing turned out looked nothing like the pictures Ive see. the pictures have a distinct V shape where as mine looked the a distorted V or a Trombone (really big at the top then drastcally tighter for the other 3/4 of the way down, not the gradual tightness that you get with a V)
Also, have any of you had any experience with the "seatbelt" a coworker from work said she had one for her strapless dress. its like a piece of elastic sewn into the dress that hooks around you with bra hooks and helps keep the dress up. I know I tried a few dresses on with these and realy thought they helped. I wonder if this could be an option for my problems.
Sorry about the long rant, just starting to freak out!!
If anyone have this dress in a size 12, 14, or 16 in ivory and want to sell it. Please contact me. My wedding is June 26 (so excited and nervous). I've been looking and lookin for this dress and couldn't find it. So finally i saw this website that had it but it was supposedly "similar". It is similar but not the dress i want. So if you have this dress and i can receive it by June 15 (i'm taking pre bridal pics in New Orleans). I'll love you. I am willing to pay for 1 day shipping.
Just bought this dress and waiting for it to come in for my first fitting.
I am getting the belt in colbalt blue to match my MOH dress.
I tired on a million dresses and kept going back to try this one one again and again. Can't wait for it to come in!!!
Hello AA2034 Brides! My wedding was june 4th, after all the drama, things turned out great. At the last minute, I decided to add a sash, I'm glad I did b/c I felt it added a little waist definition. anyway, here are some pics...
.

I guess I'm also willing to sell the dress if anyone is interested. It ws a size 18 but taken in an inch and a half on both sides and is already bustled. It also needs to be cleaned
Does anyone have a pic of the back of the dress "in action". I ordered this dress (should be here in 2 weeks!) For a splash of color I am thinking about a different color ribbon for the corset back... thoughts??
Lovebug,
How was your wedding?? Can't wait to see action shots of the dress!
Just got back from the honeymoon...I wore this dress for my wedding and LOVED it!!! It is so comfy and everyone commented on it. It looked fantastic in all the pictures and was great to dance in too. This truly was the prefect dress!!!
@Lovebug333: First of all you look stunning in that dress! Second of all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE how happy you look in it!!! Talk about that "I found THE ONE" moment! CONGRATS!!!
ladies, there are a TON of AA dresses in action posted on Alfred Angelo's facebook page.

Hi ladies. I want to buy a second hand Alfred Angelo 2034 dress in size 6. Does any of you have it? Thanks.
I am so excited to show mine off! I added an Enzoani belt to mine...
I am so happy I stumbled across this! I have been eyeballing this dress and hope to try it on in a couple of weeks. You all look fabulous!
Hi brides! Is anyone looking to sell their gorgeous (but now used) AA2034? I need at least a size 8, but can alter if it's bigger. Am getting married Nov. 6 (we got tired of waiting
) and would just love to have this dress for the day.
@RacheyZee: I just ordered this dress and was wondering what you did as far as alterations. I was wanting a sweetheart neckline and maybe a flower or belt. Did you alter yours at all? It looks so elegant.
