Hi everyone I need your help!! So I fell in love with the Alfred Angelo “Ariel” (style 201) dress from the Disney line after I saw it on weddinggawker. But while searching for more pictures of it on here I found the AA “Belle” (style 206) dress from member ChristineS86. The body style of the 2 dresses are completely different from each other so I am wondering what you guys think would look best on me! I am 5’8 and wear a medium in clothing (yah I don’t even know what dress size I wear anymore! haha)..Please help me decide!! 🙂

I really like Belle. It looks more princess like.

i don’t think we can really say what would look best on you. can you try them on? or try similar styles so you know which one you prefer? you won’t really know until you wear it and both dresses are lovely.

Both are gorgeous dresses! (I’m a Cinderella bride myself). Do you have a picture of you? Maybe if we see one we can see which one would suit you more.

I LOVE Belle, but I agree that it would be best to try them on and then get an opinion.

I’m going to be a Belle bride so I’m a little bias but I love the ball gown look! Depends on that feel you’re going for and which you like best when you try it on. Belle was the dress I had my heart set on and the first one I tried. After that nothing looked good! lol Good luck, post pics of you with them on! 🙂

I agree – go try them on for yourself! And then come back and post pics for us. 🙂

I Love the Belle version! But it depends on how each of them look on you, really. That’s the best way to tell. They’re both beautiful dresses though!

Wow thanks guys!! My biggest concern is that I have an hourglass shape. I always figured I’d need to get an “Ariel” style to accentuate my curves, and that the “Belle” style would make my hips look even bigger!!! Lol. But after seeing the Belle dress on somebody (the picture online does NOT do it justice) I love the “whimsical” feeling it gives off and I LOVE the side sleeves!! Unfortunately I feel that a dress like that would look rediculous on someone with a tall curvy figure like mine :-/
I’m going next weekend to try them on so I will post back with pics and hopefully get your final opinions! 🙂
@Lyndzo: what style Cinderella dress did you get and do you have pictures!? I just looked at AA’s website and there are 3 styles!!!

(Just looked EVERYWHERE for a full length picture of me in a dress and all I could find was this skanky picture from Halloween… so please no jokes;-) LOL. At least you can get an idea of if the “Belle” dress would make me look super wide or not!!
Although I’m not in a dress in the next one, You can see better how high my hips sit and how wide they get. I’m wondering if the Belle dress would hide that fact or make it look worse!! Let me know what you guys think. Don’t be afraid to give me your honest opinion either!!! lol.

I’m a fool for Belle, I almost bought her, had I not fallen in love with 1708

Another Belle fan here. But I’m a sucker for a tulle ballgown. 🙂
ETA: Your pics didn’t show up for me..

I LOVE BELLE!! it is like a fairy tale princess dress 🙂
but it is whatever one you feel the most comfortable in and the one that gives you the “this is the one” feeling
