Soooo... I joined the list before there were numbers. 
My first number was 25, and I made it to 3 before he proposed!
I'm still waiting, but I want to play too, darnit! Haha
I was #111 when I joined the list, I'm currently at #9!
ETA: I've been on the list since 7/12/10
I haven't joined the list...But I'm not going to lol. If I end up moving up the list I'll get sad. lol
I went from 120 to 94 before he propsed. Around the holidays it seemed like people were droping off the list like flies.
I can't remember exactly but I think it was 20 or so.. I'd have to look up the old threads to know. I think I was a waiting bee for 2-3 months?
I joined the waiting list 10/24/10 at number 141. I was proposed to on 4/28/11 and was at number 33. So 108 spots is 6 months!! Good luck waiting bees!!
Ok I lied. I just asked to be added to the waiting list. Lol..It might be fun to see the numbers change.
I'll play, too, even though I'm still on it :( I started at spot #130, and I'm currently at #13. I've been on it since September 2010.
@Wonderwoman217: I'll tell your SO to hurry up if you'll tell mine! Lol I'm hoping to be engaged sometime in the next 2 years. Then again, that's what I was hoping for 2 years ago. Le sigh.

Aww, I kind of wish I could have watched my name move up the list. I've been #1 since the list was numbered (I'm another who's been on the list since the beginning) so no movement for me.
I've been on it for a year and I went from #168 to #25!!!!!!!!! Uggh hahha I need to get off that list :(
I'm also still waiting, and will be another year =/ I started at 146 and have moved to 116 (30 spots) in a little over 2 months! I'm sure I'll be towards the top by the time I'm crossed off.
Started at 135 on 10/30/2011 and now at 116. Still waiting though. I'm hoping to be out by the 70s but who knows :)
I am still on the list I was like in the 100's somewhere when I joined last Janurary. Now I"m number three on the list. I told my SO about the list and he looked at me and laughed.
I think I started at 120-something. I believe I was right around 100 when FI proposed. I was only on for a few months, I think, because I hesitated joining for fear of seeming insane - then I realized that the rest of the waiting ladies were just as insane as I was. :)
@armychica06: You were number 160 the first time you were on the list, and number 138 when you were crossed off! Let's call this sleuthing, not stalking ok? ..haha
Sorry, I think I crossed the line into creepy.
I just went to go "research" my word how many pages I had to search through-
when I was "officially" put on the list, I was #161 (two girls were marked in one spot so the recorded number is wrong). If I had known about the list earlier, my number would have been like 120/130s- a lot of new girls were added before me.
When I was crossed off, I was #138- (but really #141 because I wasn't marked off in time before the new list came out.)
However, I joined the waiting boards toward the end of my wait because I didn't know anything about it. I was waiting about 1.3 years and joined about 3 months before my fiance proposed. So imagine if I joined the boards when I first started waiting.... I would have been in the teens or single digits.
@MissBoPeep: LOL- how did you find it so fast. I was going through pages on pages reading the memories LOL. (I saw your message after I posted).

I was on the list before numbers as well. I had been waiting for awhile before so I was number 7 and moved up to number 3 before I left the list. The higher you get I feel the slower the crawl.
Okay, after doing extensive research my first waiting list was Christmas of 2009 and when I was first crossed off was 1/16/11. I was engaged 1/7/11. Phew, that took awhile.

I was just curious to see the average number of spots a bee moves up on the waiting list before they got engaged. What number did you start with and what number were you when you said "yes" to the big question?
