We are looking for more of an outdoor location, ( modern rustic feel) I am really sold on like a barn wedding but i cant seem to find any to suite the budget. heres the breakdown.
– we want to cater our own food
– bring our own drinks
– reasonable pricing
– willing to decorate ( DYI)
– in the suburbs of Chicago
– both ceramony/ reception on site preferably
– outdoor ( with in door options) ( garden, farm, barn)
Now I have looked all over the web and cant seem to find a hidden Gem that we are looking for maybe asking around will help, if anyone knows anything please let me know.

@suzbabbitt2013: Probably need to let everybody know where you live or where you want to get married 🙂

I’m not sure how well this will work for you, but I know with similar guidelines, our wedding will be in a state park’s lovely group shelter and close by barbecue picnic pavillion.

@suzbabbitt2013: Have you found anywhere?? I am looking for the same type of local/casual reception idea! I have been stuck for a few months now… cant go any further with planning until I find somewhere to hold the 175 people I plan to invite.

Have you thought of Lake Katherine in Palos Heights? Not sure how many guests you are seeking, but it seems to fit the bill and it is very inexpensive.

I’m not sure if you’re still looking… But I recently found a beautiful barn in the Chicago suburbs area. Themorafarm.com It’s beautiful and they really try to work with a budget. The ONLY reason I’m not using it is because you cant be completely in doors. Hope this helps! 🙂
