@ToTheRiot:  if the company isn’t willing to redo, I’d first contact UPS and then, if that doesn’t work, file a claim with your credit card company. And with the refunded cost print new STDs elsewhere – that printer certainly doesn’t deserve your business!

What a bummer though. 🙁

This has happened to me several times with UPS.  You usually have to wait at least 24 hours before you file a claim.  It’s a pain in the butt!

@ToTheRiot:  call UPS right away.  In my experience that’s the best thing to do.  I’ve had this happen to me before.  If they say they were delivered then the driver clicked the button on the handheld device and usually someone would have had to sign for them.  They’ll be able to tell you who.  You confirmed that they have the correct address on file?  You’re not missing part of a zip/postal code or something are you? (i’ve also done this – forgotten to change my address and something was shipped where I used to live)

I would definitely call UPS immediately.  We have had things delivered to an address that is the same house/building number with similarly spelled streets that are in the same zip code.  Whoever did that when they were naming streets is an idiot.

Talk to your neighbors! This happens on my street a lot (the UPS people tend to mix up the apartment number with the building number) and sometimes, things get delivered to the wrong place. Usually, they just come by and ring our buzzer (or vice versa), but maybe your neighbors are holding onto it for you?

@ToTheRiot:  I know, I can totally understand your frustration – even if it’s a small thing, it’s still so disappointing! Hopefully they will show up, but if not, don’t give up. You never received what you paid for, and that just means you deserve to get your money back.

@ToTheRiot:  Yay!

I love deliveries, especially the wedding kind.

Like you, I just want to get them out–I completed them last April, but I’m waiting on a few last addresses….

@ToTheRiot:  I’m glad they came!!!  I’ve heard of this happening on occasion–the UPS guy wants to leave early or whatever, and just marks the package as delivered so that managment doesn’t know they’ve skipped out.  Then they deliver the following day.

Of course I don’t mean that as a dig at all UPS workers, but I do know someone who used to work there and apparently it’s not all that uncommon.

@ToTheRiot:  Our’s aren’t pictures (a diy job) so they were easy to do/finish.  We have to mail most of them international post, so we kept the costs wayyyy down.

I think if FI had made all 80 of them, he would be a little better at collecting some of the needed addresses 🙂 But no complaints, we still have time.

Here’s ours (the stamped embossing doesn’t show up too well in the photos):
