My doctor told me sometimes Jimmy Johns happens. For my first tri I was super careful to heat up deli meats. Now? Not so much.

Go get a sub, just get it toasted or ask them to heat the meat in the microwave for 30 seconds!

@cbco:  I eat subway all the time! Go for it. Have it toasted if it makes you feel better. If you’ve never gotten sick fr subway before it’s highly unlikely you will now.

I ate subs all the time with my first and this pregnancy, I would just get it.

I’m 7months pregnant and I would love the biggest double shot coffee I can buy. Like a 24oz or more. Mmm.

@cbco:  I’d get the sub! I haven’t NOT eaten anything I’ve wanted since getting prengnat, except raw sushi and ahi (because of the mercury). Everything else I’m not too worried about since the risk is so small. At Christmas, though, there was some absolutely delicious looking raw ahi (two strikes meant a no-go for me) with a sesame glaze and I was gazing at it and drooling and asking my husband if it was good all night. Sigh.

Beer.  Oh, beer.

We went to Red Robin tonight and I made my Husband order a big Blue Moon so I could just have a sip.  It was soooo delicious.

Have the sub. My doctor told me Subway subs were fine, the meat is cooked/heated and to go ahead. Really, I have eaten other deli meats too. Due any day now and baby is fine.

It’s your body and your choice, but I’d go for the sub, personally.

I also drank wine and coffee and ate sushi and brie and painted rooms in the house and IMHO, the only thing I did that I think was really and truly high-risk?

Drive.

I’ve been dying for a glass of almond champagne.  Not much longer though, I’m 40 weeks today so soon enough I’ll have some.
