I'm interested too if anyone has any to share! Yeah, we had our honeymoon, but we're hoping to maybe do something more tropical for our 1year like we originally wanted for our honeymoon

I haven't been to Sandals, but several of my friends have honeymooned there (in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos) and adored it.  Better yet, they have some very good deals around this time of the year.  Good luck.

There is an adult only all inclusive on Turks and Caicos. It's Club Med Turkoise. We're booked there in December, and we've heard nothing but great things!!

There isn't a Sandals resort on Turks and Caicos, its a Beaches. It's not adult only, unfortunately. It actually caters heavily to kids (the brochures have Sesame Street characters and stuff). I seriously want to go to Turks and Caicos, but wasn't impressed with the two all inclusive places I saw there, based on my research :(

We just got back from the Sandals Grande in St. Lucia and it was amazing!! It was all-inclusive and adults only...actually, I think couples only. The drinks were awesome, service was great, island was beautiful. Only downside was the food wasn't anything to write home about, but it wasn't awful. I'd definitely recommend it!

Thanks so much for all the help!  It's almost our one year anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere nice because we haven't had any days off in months since our free time has been spent working on our house.  We really need this getaway, it's just too bad, we might not end up going because my work is being difficult about my time off.  They just don't get you only get a first anniversary once...Cry  Hopefully all works out and we can book one of these places at the last minute!

Oops, it's not Turks and Caicos, it's St. Lucia.  Alas, I confuse my islands.

we booked Couples resort in Negril (they have four resorts in Jamaica) and got a STEAL. They have deals going right now for even cheaper (since you're looking to travel soon!).  We contacted a travel agent that specializes in Honeymoons and she RAVED about the Couples resorts...check them out!  Have fun!!

There's an adults only all inclusive hotel on the main hotel strip in Cancun, Mexico... it's called Temptation: http://www.temptationresortcancun.com/ I don't know if it might be a bit 'racy' for you or not, I've not actually stayed there myself, we stayed at a 'sister hotel' and did a couple of excursions which departed from the Temptation resort.

We just got back from the Spa Palace south of Cancun (there at ten Palace resorts).  It was so nice because there was hardly anyone there (this is their low time).  The weather was hot, but between the pools, lagoons, and A/C it wasn't bad.  They treat you like a QUEEN, it was so wonderful.

I've heard wonderful things about Couples in Jamaica, my FBIL and his wife went to Couples Swept Away for their honeymoon and LOVED it...so much so that is where we're going, well a different resort but still a Couples resort. It seems like a great place and not too pricey, the reviews on trip advisor are all pretty positive as well.

I've been L to Moon Palace a little south of Cancun and it was great!  All rooms are oceanfront and have a large jacuzzi.  My sis and bil would swear to you that they loved the Sandals at Antigua.

We went to Excellence Playa Mujeres outside of Cancun this past April.

It was AMAZING! Seriously- great food (7 restaurant to choose from), drinks galore, beautiful rooms (we had a private plunge pool and rooftop deck) and friendly staff. We're kind of bummed that we already went there since now we're trying to plan a honeymoon for this coming April- need to top that trip! We got a really great deal as well.

    Good luck!

@magsnmoose: That's where we went on our honeymoon last September!  We LOVED it there, so wanted a similar experience so we could just relax.  We were going to go to the one in Punta Cana, but we read a review that sounded like a couple like us stayed there hoping for the same experience and they were really unhappy, so it scared us.  We are leaving this Wednesday to Punta Cana, but we are stayin here: http://www.bookit.com/dominicanrepublic/puntacana/hotels/iberostar-grand-hotel-bavaro/

I'll share our experience when we come back!

@lillindy-  can't wait to hear how this trip goes. we had gone back and forth about whether we should try out the excellence in punta cana but like you read a review that sounded iffy. have a great time!

Its too late to reply since you already found a location but I stayed at the Excellence Resort in Punta Cana for my honeymoon and it was nothing short of amazing.  I read A TON of reviews before going and some were really bad that it scared me but once I was there I really didnt understand the bad reviews.  It seemed like they expected way too much and any little tiny thing that didnt go their way they were upset about.  That being said Punta Cana is amazing and you will have so much fun!!!  I wish I could go again :)

Oh and be sure you have $10 cash for each of you when you get off the plane, they charge $10 per person for a visitors card and you have to pay.  Funny thing is they give you the card and it gets taken away right away :)

Our neighbors/friends went to Sandals for their honeymoon and LOVED it. I think that's where we'll go - I want to go somewhere adults-only just because I'd like to lay by the pool or take a dip without being splashed all over (don't get me wrong, I love kids just not on my honeymoon!).

I have several Resorts in Riviera Maya, Mexico that I'd recommend in a heart beat. Super fabulous, however not adult only...

@Phannie: We stayed at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bávaro in Punta Cana.  We had a great time there and if you would like to see some pictures PM me and I'll send you a link.  I have to say, though, that the place really looks like it did online, so that was nice to see that when we got there.  While there we often ourselves comparing this place to the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Mexico where we went for our honeymoon last year.  We liked our room better (it was much larger - the rooftop terrace suite - and it was still cheaper than our room in Punta Cana) in Mexico & how there we mats and hammocks to lounge in the water.  There were also more private outside cabanas.  The beach was much better in Punta Cana, though.  Both places had pretty good food and we really liked the fact that they were both adult only.  If the price/budget is a huge factor, we feel like we got a better deal with where we stayed in Mexico since your dollar goes further at that resort, but you can't go wrong with either place.
