i have AAA insurance and they have vacation specials/discounts so if u have AAA insurance u should check that or maybe u can find a travel agent?
Where are y'all looking at going? We are staying at the Valentin Imperial Maya in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It was very reasonably priced compared to Sandals and had great reviews on TripAdvisor!
I love love love sandals! We are huge fans and while we could afford the upper tier rooms my FI and I always take the lowest level room. To be honest the room is still huge and depending which resorts there are great views from every room, we had a porch, half the time you get upgraded anyway, and its just a room! Everything else in the resort is included no matter what room you have.
Thats a good perspective, I know we will have a good time regardless, so maybe I'm putting too much emphasis on the room. Well can you reccommend the best/most romantic sandals resorts?
Hmmm...well I am a big fan of the St. Lucia Grande and Whitehouse as they are the newer ones and a little nicer, St Lucia Regency is also beautiful and a little smaller/more intimate. Emerald Bay looks amazing and is a little pricey. This site is a great resource for reviews and stuff http://www.chris-n-cheryl.com/v-web/bulletin/bb/index.php
I've been to Breezes Bahamas about 5 years ago. If they have not updated since, I would agree that it is outdated and a bit rundown. Overall, we had a great experience there and even got an upgrade to a waterview room upon arrival but we were traveling with friends and they were not so lucky, they had to switch rooms due to an air conditioner malfunction and then their new room had a leak. Location is great, friendly staff, several food and drink options and water sports but I would check when their last rennovations were, there's a good chance they have updated recently.
Next week I'm going to my first Sandals (Jamica) for a friend's wedding. We booked the lowest room class and it was actually sold out months in advance so I'm glad we booked when we did. We also booked Sandals in St. Lucia for our honeymoon on the lowest room class. I guess we'll see how Jamica goes before considering an updrade. I don't have any experience with Sandals but my friend highly recommended it after her first trip to Jamica.
well we just booked Sandals Grande Ocho Rios for 7 nights in the honeymoon plantation suite villa! Anyone have reviews on it?
@katiejoy we booked Sandals Grande Ocho Rios as well, in a Honeymoon Oceanview Villa
I have a read terrible and wonderful reviews...
What I usually do is Google <Resort Name> Reviews or <Resort Name> Tips and Tricks and usually you can find a ton of reviews.

were looking for the best all inclusive resort with the best deals, we've come across sandals, and breezes mostly, but I was seeing if anyone had tips for finding the best deals?
we want luxory, water sports, romance, and some nightlife. Breezes seems very outdated, but a good price, and sandals looks amazing, but all we could afford is maybe the lowest package. any advice??? please :)
