Yes it will be hot.

Some islands are more hurricane prone than others. I would recommend Jamaica, Aruba, or Riviera Maya. There are some fantastic all inclusive adult only resorts there.

I went to cancun in the middle of summer, it was June 6 – 11 and yes it was deffinately hot! But, not completly unbareable. I went to an all inclusive and they made SURE we were hydrated with cabana boys walking around offering drinks of any sort! For the most part I laid out the whole week, we only got in the ocean a few times but The pool more so people it was so nice! Look into Riu.com …. Like I said we went to Cancun and stayed at Riu Palace Las Americas… We visited other Riu’s that were in cancun as well and loved them too but if you want the best of the best book a Riu Palace. You WON’t regret it, they have them in all sorts of locations too! Also as far as hurricanes go , we didnt even have a single storm! So the coast is clear there around June I would say there but I know they got hit hard around the end of July/August

Have you considered Costa Rica? This all inclusive is in a private rainforest. It is 1000 ft up so you have nice breezes and not so much humidity. That is wonderful time of year there. It rains. but not until late afternoon and evening. THe rains were warm and tro[ical and did not bother us at all.  It was so relaxing, they took care of your every whim.

Try Zipling through the forest canopy tours.  OMG the most fun EVER.

and oh yeah, Costa RIca never gets hurricanes, it is out of that zone.

Some ideas:

Yeah you will hit the hurricane season in the summer, which is what we are coming across for ours in 2012..  So Hawaii might be a good option since its not in the hurricane belt.  But its not all inclusive.  The “ABC” Caribbean Islands that aren’t effected by the hurricanes do have all inclusives.

We are going to Cozumel. The Park Royal is an all-inclusive and looks amazing! I HAD to have an all-inclusive. There was no other option. And Mexico was cheaper than most other places.

@MissShork: You asked about bumping. Are you talking about if you book at a resort and they are full that you could get bumped to another resort when you arrive?

That can happen when you book online through discounter websites. Booking somewhere that there is a “no walk” policy will ensure that you won’t be moved to a different resort when you arrive.

@MissShork: I would only go to Cuba if you aren’t intersted in eating delicious food.  Cuba is a fantasic cheap getaway, with lovely beaches.  But the food and drink is really lacking.

About the same price is DR which is better for food and drink, and still cheap.

We are booking our honeymoon this week!! We are going to a sandals resort, and its all inclusive..including alcohol..unlimited even, lol. There is TONS of activites to do that come with your stay of course there is some activites you can do like swim with the dolphins/deep sea fishing.. all that cost. To us personally..its a little pricey but with it including all meals and drinks, plus most activites..it was a win win! Still have to pay to get there of course! But Id check it out…

Another tip= we found out when staying at one of the 3 resorts that are close together, you can use the amenities at all 3, so we are staying at the smaller more secluded resort then utilizing the other 2 for the amenities. We are staying at the Sandals Carlyle Inn and the other 2 you get to use are the royal carribean and montego bay.

Sorry..but ALSO..our first option was a cruise..and when we priced it with a travel agent, he got it to use for only 650 a person and my wedding is the end of june so it sounded like a great deal to me, we just loved the idea of sandals!
