Not much to say about these! The bridal party photos. I firmly believe that never before in the history of weddings has one bride had to hear over and over, from family, from vendors, compliments… on how beautiful her sister is! She was hardly in the last batch, but now you get to see her in all her glory 😉 Talk about upstaging the bride! Hahaha <3
I felt truly ridiculous walking out of the hotel on the way to get photos taken. Everyone was staring! Even though it was my wedding day I felt like a fool out walking around in some huge wedding dress in public. Wasn’t it supposed to feel right? lol
Darling Husband and his little sister! We switched it up for our bridal party – he had a maid of honour, I had a best man. Couldn’t be happier about how it worked out!
My best man gave me a hug for the photo but got snagged on my veil and tugged my head way back! Made me scream! He looks so sheepish… I thought it was hysterical.
Can I just say I love this one??
We went to the stairwell next. Got my bridal shot 😀 I’m happy with it~
We have a similar shot of me scratching his beard from when I graduated from high school 8 years ago. So sentimental! But it also just does look good 😉
I’m so long here! I’m over the moon about it, haha! It’s not an illusion though, I’m nearly 6’1″ in those heels.
Some good, old fashioned stairwell makeouts 😉
We did not do a themed wedding and I had fallen in love with other winter wedding photos outdoors in the trees. These are my favourites. He is so cold in them though. Is it just my imagination, or is he turning purple??! I’m such an ass for asking for these! My Bridesmaid or Best Man is hidden behind me out there too, but at least she’s holding my jacket, giving her an extra layer.
So worth it!
The location our photogs had scouted was too far away, so we ended up going to a nearby park which overlooked the river valley. I was super flexible about it, and wanted to make the longer trek out since my photogs had a vision in mind. Luckily, the Bridesmaid or Best Man I dragged along thought of this place and convinced me that it would be good if the groom and I made it back on time for the ceremony! Having gotten the photos here, I couldn’t imagine it any other way now!
I had a truly unladylike moment on the walk from the car out to the park. I was wearing tights under my dress, and my garter simply would not stay up! Right when we alongside the road of a busy bridge I felt it slide down below my knee. Right then and there I hiked up my dress so that I could yank it up… alllll the way up! I figured, who’s going to say anything to the bride?? Nobody!
