Definitely get a copy of “Taking Charge of Your Fertility.”

Then there’s the basics – exercise, drink water, cut out smoking (if you do), alcohol, take your vitamins. I think they recommend taking prenatals/folic acid before you get pregnant, but I’m not sure when. 🙂

Folic acid is generally advised to all women of child-bearing age so you can start taking that now. Other than that I agree with PP.

@trixiesrockets: Chart. Check out the ‘charters of the hive’ threads for more info. I started to make sure I get my recommended 5 a day portions of fruit and veg a day.

I second getting the book “Taking Charge of your Fertility” and def get on a prenatal vitamin. If you are in an area that has a Meijer or Marsh they have free prenatals! Good luck!

I like New Chapter prenatal vitamins best, they’re food/plant based.
