Heey I'm getting married Nov. 26, 2010... I picked ruby red for my color.. I also picked red roses for me and I'm still deciding on what color flowers to do the girls.. I don't know if I want to do red for the girls because I think red on red won't look good in pictures.. What are all your ideas??

I'm probably not too helpful - I got married in November '08 (one year ago this weekend!)  - but our colors were black and white with touches of fuschia and damask.  My bridesmaids' dresses were black and our flowers were calla lilies.  I like the classic look!

I think ruby red could be a really pretty color for dressses.  But I also love what people are doing with "color pallettes" - so you could do shades of red including some pinks, or wine colors...like khloe kardashian did with all the different shades of purple.  I think it makes it interesting :)

We're getting married November 13, 2010 and have settled on a rather broad color palatte!  We are using fuschia, apple green, burnt orange, chocolate brown, ivory and metallic gold.  We live in the tropics so wanted to bring some of the natural colors in, but still stay true to the Fall season, which is my absolute favorite time of the year and the time I miss the most, now that I don't live up north any more.

I haven't really thought too much about the flowers yet, but I'm thinking hydrangeas (the green ones with dark pink/purple edges, I think they're called antique), pink and green hypericum berries, peonies (if we can get them) and we'll see what else!

We're November 20th, 2010 and we're doing light sage green and dark blue with touches of brown. I think I've gotten the flowers narrowed to peonies.

I haven't really looked at flowers.   But  I am leaning towards blue hydrangea or peonies.

I'm an October bride, but we're doing Fall Colors:  Rust, Chocolate Brown, Latte, and a little bit of the deep reds and yellows.

My flowers are silk and most are the orange/rust/deep red.  Lots of hydrangeas, hypericum berries, and peonies.

I think red would be beautiful - and maybe you could think about making the BM flowers more neutral since yours will be a red *pop*.  I think ivory flowers for them would be pretty, or a combo of red and ivory.

I'm also getting married on November 13, 2020 (World Kindness Day). My colors are chocolate brown, sage green, and ivory. I would also like to incorporate burnt orange...I like mango calla lilies! I really want to go for the fall theme look.

    Hi!

I'm getting married Nov 5, 2010, and our colors are (most likely) chocolate brown, pale yellow, and burnt orange... although lately I've been considering chocolate brown and moss green...

I think I will end up sticking with my origional pallate though.  It goes better with the theme I'm aiming for... "autumn rustic chic"

I want to use wheat, billyballs, maybe sunflowers, probably pumpkins and gourds...

My colors are one of the few things I have decided on. And God bless Marta Stewart, she came up with it for me!

She calls the colors Honey, Wheat, and Flaxen. And for us, just so everything doesn't all blend together, we are going to anchor it with Navy Blue.

I got married on 11/7, and my colors were a bit unconventional, but I wanted something that worked for the season, but weren't traditional fall colors.  So we used deep purple for the bridesmaid dresses, and orange and gold flowers to complement the purple.  The bridesmaid bouquets were orange roses with gold billy buttons and orange hypericum berries, and my bouquet was orange and ivory roses with eggplant calla lilies and green hypericum berries.  Everything came together beautifully and I have already gotten a lot of complements on the flowers!

Mimi - I kind of giggled when I saw your colors, that is exactly what I originally wanted, but my guy vetoed pink. :(

I love the vintage feel of the pink and copper together. It's beautiful! I was also thinking of adding like a pale coral or soft peach to it.

I know its kind of odd but we are doing turquoise, and sage green. My engagement ring is blue topaz and diamond (our birthstones) so we decided to go with a color scheme to match.PLUS my guy is completely color blind so i dont have to run any colors by him ;p

I'm doing Champagne, creams, ivory and some white. Touches of black where these colors don't work and for flowers all white tulips. We aren't doing flower centerpeices though, trying to do a lot of light gold and candle light. Working with light rather than color.

I'm getting married on Nov 6. Our colors are chartreuse and chocolate, with an accent of bright orange (just my bouquet). For flowers we're going to do orchids (in green and white), or mabye spider mums, haven't decided for sure yet.

My bridesmaids will be wearing a burgundy color dress and I didn't want the flowers to compete with such a rich color. I went for a simple babies breathe bouquet for the girls.

11/6/10... chocolate and cream. I'm using small ivory rose handtied bouquets for the girls and a big, freeform, handtied bouquet of all ivory/white flowers.

11/13/10 I'm doing Berry, Silver, and Black. Haven't decided on flowers, I'll probably have the girls carry white/ivory garden roses, and my bouquet will be shades of berry and ivory as my dress will be ivory!

11.07.10...  right now the colors on my mind are pink and light gold.. however, that may change since i don't really have a favorite color, everything is just do pretty!!  the florist recommended to include ivory in the bouquets and centerpeices and he's using hydrangeas and roses.. for my bridal bouquet, he's doing roses, stephanotis and orchids.  the bm bouquets are supposed to be a variance of pink flowers.

i'm not very good with flowers though, are there any suggestions you would be able to recommend for fall flowers in my color scheme?? the florst is using a gold colored bowl thing to hold the centerpeices.
